Mark Anderson, LPC
Group Therapist
Mark brings both professional expertise and personal experience to his work with clients in recovery. After more than three decades in the information technology field, he followed a lifelong calling to help others overcome addiction and earned his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.
Mark began his clinical career at another residential treatment center where he had previously volunteered for several years. In his professional role as a primary counselor he worked with men in residential treatment for substance use disorders. His integrative, evidence-based approach draws from cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and choice theory frameworks, as well as twelve-step facilitation.
With over 28 years of continuous sobriety and a deep belief in the power of group therapy, Mark is passionate about helping men in recovery to find connection, honesty, and hope through authentic community.
